Here are a just a few of the cases I've successfully handled in State and Federal courts in both Kentucky and Ohio:

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. L.F. – Defendant charged with Felony D.U.I. with blood-alcohol over .017. Despite eyewitness testimony that my client was driving, my investigation and preparation, including aerial photographs and crime-scene video, helped me show the jury that her testimony was fabricated. Jury verdict of not guilty.

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. C.S. - Defendant indicted for Sex Abuse of minor victim. Jury verdict of not guilty.

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. Z.T.- Defendant indicted for Sex Abuse of two minor victims. My investigation revealed several alternate theories that the State had failed to consider.Jury verdict of not guilty.

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. L.M.- Defendant charged with First Degree Rape. After working quickly with my investigator to secure statements from witnesses and conducting a thorough independent investigation, I was able to convince the State to dismiss all charges.

State of Ohio v. C.R. - Defendant indicted for Trafficking Cocaine. Undercover officer testified that she purchased cocaine directly from my client, but my extensive preparation helped me show the jury that she was mistaken. Jury verdict of not guilty.

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. R.D. - Defendant accused of Felony Sexual Abuse involving two minor victims. My investigation revealed gaps in their statements that could only be explained by fabrication. Jury verdict of not guilty.

Commonwealth v. M.S. - Defendant accused of First Degree Assault against abusive stepfather. By doing a thorough investigation of my client's childhood, I was able to successfully present a defense of diminished capacity that resulted in significantly reduced charges for my client with no jail time.

IN RE: C.H. - Juvenile Defendant accused of Burglary of his high school. My tough negotiating skills resulted in my client graduating on time and with his class. All records sealed.

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. K.A. - Defendant charged with First Degree Rape. My investigation unearthed several key facts that the arresting officer hadn't found important enough to follow-up on. By putting in the extra effort, I was able to secure a dismissal of all charges.

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. L.F. - Defendant charged with Fourth Offense DUI. Case turned on whether there was sufficient proof that the Defendant had been operating the vehicle (he was discovered standing next to the vehicle). Jury verdict of not guilty.

State of Ohio v. M.C. - Defendant found guilty of Possession of Drugs with nearly 100 grams of crack cocaine and sentenced to 4 years in prison. I took the case to the Ohio Court of Appeals where I successfully argued that the police had violated my client's 4th Amendment rights when they searched her purse. Appeal successful, case dismissed.

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. M.F. - Defendant charged with Theft of over $1000.00 from his employer. My investigation revealed several likely suspects that were ignored by the police and prosecutor. Jury verdict of not guilty.

Commonwealth of Kentucky v. T.K. - Defendant charged with Felony Sexual Abuse involving adult victim. My investigation led me to several eyewitnesses who were not interviewed before my client was arrested. By pinning down their stories in taped statements, I was able to build a defense so solid that the State gave up before they even got started. Charges dismissed by the State with prejudice.

United States v. B.B. - Defendant charged with Illegal Possession of a Firearm in Federal Court. My investigation allowed me to be able to present facts to the prosecutor that his investigation had missed. By holding firm, I was able to secure a dismissal of all charges.
